Chumvalley Farmers Busy Harvesting Wheat, Fafar, and Mustard

Gorkha. Chumvalley farmers are currently very busy harvesting wheat that has been growing for eleven months. Farmers in Chumanubri Rural Municipality-7, located in the Tibet border area, are busy cutting, threshing, sorting, and storing wheat.

According to Dorje Lama of Chhekam village in Chumvalley, men cut and thresh wheat, while women sort and store it. After harvesting wheat, mustard and fafar are cut, threshed, and stored within a few days.
