Chobhar Dry Port in final preparations for operation [Photos]

KATHMANDU: APRIL. 1 – The dry port being built at Chobhar, on Kathmandu’s southern border, is nearing completion. The Nepal Inter Model Transport Development Committee built the port on the site of the Himal Cement Industry’s production plant in Chobhar.

The port’s construction, which began on Magh 3, 2075 BS (17 January 2019) with the goal of finishing in one and a half years, was completed in more than two and a half years and 27 months.
