Naming Madhes Province honors Madhes movement: Chair Yadav

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), Upendra Yadav said that naming Province 2 as Madhes Province has honored the Madhes movement.

Addressing a celebration program after the Province-2 Assembly passed the name --- Madhes Province--- and its capital city as Janakpurdham on Monday, Chairperson Yadav said that the sacrifice of Madhesi people and their dream is reflected with the naming of Madhes Province. “We're happy to have this name of our province."
