Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has told the Supreme Court (SC) that expansion and formation of the Cabinet is the PM's prerogative.

"It is not that the PM cannot expand the existing Cabinet, carry out division of responsibilities and hand over responsibility of any ministry to any minister when the House of Representatives (HoR) is dissolved," PM Oli has argued in the written response to the SC in the petition against Cabinet expansion.
