Holding election on slated date is sole objective of government: PM Karki

Kathmandu, Oct 17: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed commitment to hand over the power peacefully to the newly elected people's representative government by holding the election to the House of Representatives within five months. In course of a briefing to the Diplomatic Corp in Kathmandu, PM Karki, who also holds the portfolio of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reaffirmed that the main objective of the incumbent government is to hold election on March 5, 2026 in a free, fearless and impartial manner.
