Rivers in Nepal Exceed Alert Levels Due to Rainfall

Kathmandu. With rainfall in various parts of the country, the water level in major rivers has risen and crossed the alert level.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Flood Forecasting Division, as of the 6 AM measurement today, the Sun Koshi, Budhi Gandaki, and Mahakali rivers have crossed the alert level.
