Mustang's Year-End Festival Celebrated in Khhinga

Mustang. The annual Yartung festival celebrated in Khhinga, Baragung Muktikshetra-1 of Mustang, has been concluded with joy and enthusiasm. Among the various villages in the Muktinath region, the first Yartung festival was started from Khhinga village of Mustang.

The Yartung festival is celebrated annually by the locals of the Muktinath region to bid farewell to the monsoon and welcome the winter season. The Yartung, which started from Khhinga village of Mustang on Saturday, is celebrated jointly by the locals of Purang Ranipauwa and Jharokot villages of Mustang on the day of Janapurnima.
