Rautahat Residents Face Water Crisis Due to Contractor Negligence

Rautahat. Hundreds of local residents in Katahariya Municipality of Rautahat have been facing a drinking water problem for three months due to the negligence of the contractor. Approximately two hundred families in ward number 3 Chotka Badedawa and ward number 4 Harshaha have been deprived of regular drinking water service after the main water pipe was damaged during the construction of a bridge.

The daily lives of the locals have been affected due to the prolonged disruption of water supply. As there is no alternative arrangement for drinking water, the local residents are forced to use distant sources or other unsafe water.
