Road race to promote tourism

Kathmandu - A road race is being organized in Rishing rural municipality of Tanahu with the objective of promoting tourism that has been severely hit by COVID-19. The event is being held on January 11, 2021. Sharing information at a press conference held here on Friday, the rural municipality shared that the Rishing Marathon is being held in three categories—open, local and women.

The first, second and third prize for the winners is Rs. 65,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 25,000 respectively, according to the rural municipality Chair Rajendra Krishna Shrestha. Three others will receive consolation prize of Rs. 10,000 each.
