335 Bodies Managed in Chitwan Following Bhote Koshi Flood; DNA Collection Underway

Chitwan. Out of the bodies found in Chitwan after the unimaginable flood in Bhote Koshi on Bhadra 10, 335 bodies have been managed. It is reported that 129 of them were of unidentified gender. These unidentified bodies were managed in the Devghat jungle of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 by Tuesday night.

According to the Chief of the District Police Office, Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Poudel, out of the 348 bodies found so far, 335 have been managed, and 12 have been identified. One is yet to be managed. As it became difficult to manage the bodies in the district, DNA was collected, and since Saturday, bodies have been taken to the jungle and buried in pits.
