Rebuilding after the fire

We should neither abandon salvageable buildings nor occupy unsafe ones.

The Gen Z protests of September 8 and 9 left a profound scar on Nepal’s built environment. Riots, vandalism and arson on September 9 triggered fires in some of the country’s most important public buildings, including Singha Durbar, the Parliament, the Supreme Court, the President’s Residence, and other key governmental and business houses.
