Man held on charge of raping daughter

Kathmandu - Police arrested a 40-year-old man of Triyuga Municipality-11 in Udayapur district on charge of raping his 13-year-old daughter. According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, the man was held on charge of repeatedly raping his daughter for some time now. Chief of Udayapur Police Superintendent of Police Bhim Prasad Dahal shared that investigations were initiated against the alleged after his arrest as an application was lodged on charge of rape.

Police said that health checkups of the victim were conducted in the District Hospital. Meanwhile, two parents and a newly-wed couple were arrested in the district on charge of child marriage. Pushpa Koirala of Triyuga Municipality-3, Radha Khadka of Tapli Rural Municipality-5 and newlyweds Ashwin Koirala and Goma Khadka were held.
