Political Analyst CK Lal Warns of Religious Politics Jeopardizing Madhesh Movement Achievements

Kathmandu. Political analyst CK Lal has warned that the achievements gained from the sacrifices of the martyrs of the Madhesh movement could be jeopardized due to religious politics. He expressed concern over the increasing social and political polarization while speaking at a tribute program for litterateur Dr. Rajendra Bimal, organized as part of the 'Madhesh: The Road Ahead' dialogue series at Imperial Hotel in Aloknagar, Kathmandu.

CK Lal stated that if Dr. Bimal were alive today, he would have played a significant role in reducing the conflict and intolerance spread in society through literature. He clarified that if Rajendra Bimal were alive, he would have worked to douse the fire of spreading conflict with the medium of literature.
