Educational Strike: Some Closed, Some Open (Photos)

Kathmandu – Due to the nationwide educational strike called by ANERASWAVYU (Revolutionary), a student organization close to the majority faction of the CPN led by Dharmendra Bastola, most educational institutions remained closed today. Some private schools had informed parents via SMS on Thursday evening about the closure. However, a few schools remained open as internal examinations were being conducted.

ANERASWAVYU (Revolutionary) announced a one-day nationwide educational strike today, demanding free and guaranteed education, an end to privatization in education, and the prompt issuance of the Education Act, among other demands.
