Seven Nepali athletes set to compete in Asian 'Youth Games'

Kathmandu, Oct 19: A total of seven athletes from Nepal are gearing up to participate in five distinct sports at the upcoming third Asian 'Youth Games'. The event is scheduled to take place in Bahrain from October 22 to 31. Sabina Shrestha will take to the badminton court, Ruven Thapa will compete in golf, Samita Nepali will showcase her skills in judo, while Palesha Kakshapati and Genji Rai will represent Nepal in Muay Thai.

Additionally, Atharva Singh and Arya Maharjan will swim for the nation. Among the official representatives of the team are Tilak Pandey (badminton), Dhruvbabu Thapa (golf), Devkimaya Shrestha (judo), Bhupesh Shakya (Muay Thai), and Nayana Shakya (swimming).
