Prosperity not possible without stability and peace

Chief of Gandaki Province Amik Sherchan has said that development and prosperity were not possible without political stability and peace. Speaking at the 39th annual general meeting of Pokhara Photographers Association Nepal here on Friday, he said that national unity and consensus were also essential for prosperity.

"All the Nepalis need to be united to protect freedom and nationality," he said. Sherchan also lauded the role of photographers in the country to document history, and keep it alive.
