Team mobilized to examine cases of high fever

Kathmandu - A medical team has been mobilized to investigate into the cases of high fever in Mahakali municipality of Kanchanpur. Six people have died in the past two weeks due to high fever. The team was mobilized from the Sudur Paschim Provincial Heath Directorate.
The team that reached Mahakali on Saturday has collected blood samples from the sick and their family members. The samples will be sent to Kathmandu for a lab test, according to vector controller of the directorate Hem Raj Joshi. The team has suspected Japanese encephalitis or meningitis.
