Sugar likely to cost more than Rs 100 per kilogram in next few days

KATHMANDU, September 16: As the main festival of Nepali society, Dashain and Tihar, hovers around, the cost of sugar per kilogram is likely to be higher than Rs 100.

Two main government companies - Salt Trading Corporation and Food Management and Trading Company - do not have enough sugar for this festival season in stock due to which traders are likely to hike the price as per their will.
