Nepal becoming a destination for foreign filmmakers

KATHMANDU, June 10: Film shooting of Indian movies and web series has been increasing in Nepal in the recent past.

Though Nepal had become a filming location for documentaries produced in the English language, the number of Indian films that were shot here had not increased much. Two years ago, the movie 'Uunchai' was shot in Nepal for a month. The country got much-needed publicity through this film starring popular Indian artists like Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Danny Denzongpa Boman Irani and Parineeti Chopra.
