Last rites of Bipin Joshi performed with national honors; Sudurpaschim mourns over loss of eight promising students

KATHMANDU, Oct 21: Draped in the national flag, the body of Bipin Joshi of Kanchanpur—killed while being held captive by Hamas in Gaza—was cremated on Tuesday morning with national honors at Bhujela Aryaghat on the banks of the Mahakali River. The Armed Police Force paid a ceremonial salute as hundreds gathered to bid farewell to the young student whose life was cut short in a foreign land.
