CIB takes testimony of Joint Secretary Jhalakram Adhikari

KATHMANDU, Sep 6: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has taken the testimony of Joint Secretary Jhalakman Adhikari in the 60 kg 716 grams gold smuggling case.

After it was seen that he was in contact with Dawa Chhiring, a Belgian citizen involved in the smuggling, Adhikari was removed from the position of the Director General of the Immigration Department. It has been found that Adhikari was communicating with Dawa on WhatsApp.
