Chitwan-Devghat Water Level Reaches 4.76 Meters, Flood Expected

Chitwan. The water level at the Chitwan-Devghat flood measurement center has reached 4.76 meters. The flood flow is estimated to reach Devghat around 3:30 PM on Wednesday.

According to an initial assessment through a notice called Nepal Flood Information, the water level may rise by approximately 3 meters. Accordingly, the water level at Devghat could reach about 8 meters, and this is estimated to be a flood with a 2-3 year recurrence period.
