Health Ministry Pledges Full Treatment for Flood Victims

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Health and Population has stated that it will spare no effort in treating the victims of the severe floods and landslides in various districts including Rasuwa.

According to the Ministry of Health, six hospitals in Kathmandu have been put on alert for immediate treatment of potential injured and sick individuals and for prompt referral if necessary. Trauma Center, Bir Hospital, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Patan Hospital, Civil Hospital, and Nepal Police Hospital have been placed on alert. Ministry of Health spokesperson Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari said that the treatment for those affected by the flood is completely free. Currently, 21 people are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.
