28 Police Personnel Missing After Bhote Koshi River Flood in Rasuwa

Kathmandu. 28 police personnel deployed in the working area are still missing due to the severe flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa on Wednesday. According to the latest details released by the Police Headquarters at 11:05 PM on Wednesday, those police employees working in various flood-affected areas have not yet come into contact. The flood has also damaged police offices, and the status of the manpower working there is unknown, and security mechanisms have been intensified for their search.

According to the Police Headquarters, most of the employees working at the Area Police Office, Timure, are missing. Out of the 23 police personnel working there, only 13 have come into contact so far, while 10 are still missing. Similarly, out of the 9 police personnel working at the Border Police Post, Rausuwagadhi, 8 police personnel are still out of contact. A total of 28 police personnel, including 3 from the Syaphrubesi Police Post, 5 from the temporary police post Mailung, 1 from the Betrawati Police Post, and 1 from the Haku Police Post, are being searched for.
