Catastrophic Bhotekoshi flood claims 157 lives, several hundred missing

Kathmandu, Aug. 27: At least 157 people have died and 75 others have been injured as of 11 pm after a massive flash flood swept through the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa district early Wednesday, wreaking havoc on human settlements and infrastructure along the river. Their identities have yet to be confirmed.
