New bird species discovered

By Baburam Karki,Barahakshetra, Mar. 5: A new bird species has been recorded in Nepal. The Purple-rumped sunbird was spotted at Kakarbhitta in Mechinagar Municipality-6, in Jhapa district, eastern Nepal.
