Trade deficit stands at Rs. 1,053 billion in nine months, export drops by 3.6%

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 22: The country’s trade deficit in the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2023/24 has reached more than Rs. 1,053 billion. According to the statistics of the Department of Customs based on the first nine months made public Sunday, Nepal has incurred a trade deficit of Rs. 1,053.42 billion during the first nine months of the current fiscal year 2023/24.
