Britain and India to sign landmark free trade pact during Modi visit

The agreement will be signed during Modi’s fourth visit to the UK since he took office in 2014.

Britain and India will sign a landmark free trade agreement on Thursday during a visit by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sealing a deal to cut tariffs on goods from textiles to whisky and cars and allow more market access for businesses.
