Suicide cases up in lockdown

KATHMANDU: A total of 2,218 persons took their lives in the COVID-19 lockdown across the country.
The suicide number was recorded from March 24 to July 19, according to Nepal Police Headquarters. Among those committing suicide, most are men (1,172), followed by women (811), boys (94) and girls (141).
