COVID-19 in stage of community transfer due for poor handling of quarantine facilities

Kathmandu - Prakash Adhiari With the confirmation of coronavirus infection on five health workers of Karnali State Hospital and some other cases, the officials have confirmed the community transfer of coronavirus infection in Karnali State. This is the first of its case of coronavirus infection in which a large number of health workers in the Karnali State are infected.

Three patients from Dailekh and Surkhet districts with no travel history also tested positive for the virus and the health workers involved in the treatment of those patients got infected from the virus, confirming the community transfer of coronavirus infection in Karnali. Prior to this, a student of west Surkeht without any travel history was infected.
