COVID-19 cases tally surpasses 100 in State 2

Kathmandu - The COVID-19 infections tally has reached 103 in State-2. The data about the detected cases updated by The Ministry of Health and Population on Friday took the state-level tally to 103 from 99 with four more people from Parsa testing positive for the virus. On Friday evening, the Ministry confirmed nine cases of COVID-19 from different parts of the country. Among the new patients from Parsa, two are minors: nine and 10-year-old, a 23-year-old and a 27-year-old women of Birgunj-9, Parsa.
Similarly, a 17-year-old adolescent girl of Ramananda Chowk in Janakpur, Dhanusha, who was tested positive for the coronavirus, presently lives in Kathmandu, according to State-2 Social Development Secretary Dr Ram Prasad Ghimire. As the infection rate continues to rise, efforts to prevent and treat the virus have been intensified in the State.
