KATHMANDU: JULY 24 – The Tokyo Olympics, which started a year late due to the Corona epidemic, have officially opened. Players from all over the country marched to the empty stadium amid a grand opening on Friday. March Pass has been the main attraction of the Olympics.
However, this time around 1,000 players and officials were allowed to attend because of Coronavirus. According to the International Olympic Committee, 350 million people around the world watched live on TV, smartphones and the Internet. The athlete’s march pass was started by a Greek athlete at the first Summer Olympics in 1986. After this, the march of the refugee players started. Swimmers Gaurika Singh and Alex Sah from Nepal carried the flag in March.
