Baglung to have zoological park

Kathmandu - A zoological park is to be constructed in the Baglung municipality in Baglung and the infrastructure is said to be the model one across the country. The purpose of building the park is to conserve wildlife available in local community forests and to promote local tourism.

It may be noted that the detailed project report to this connection has been already prepared and the Gandaki state government has, through the budget for upcoming fiscal year, allocated Rs 5 million to the municipality to begin the project, said State Assembly legislator Indra Lal Sapkota. The total cost of the project is over Rs 240 million.
