Monday declared public holiday

Kathmandu - The government has declared Monday a public holiday on the occasion of Id-ul-fitra, the festival of the Muslim community.

The cabinet had decided a public holiday for today, but since the moon was not visible from Nepal and south Asia on Saturday it has been postponed for Monday, the Home Ministry has said.
