Five pharmacies in Nuwakot fined for selling drugs without invoice

Kathmandu - A joint market monitoring team here has slapped fines totaling Rs 10 million on five different pharmacies in Nuwakot district on Thursday for selling medicines without invoice. The Department of Drug Administration, the District Administration Office, Nuwakot and the District Police Office in Nuwakot during its market monitoring found out that five pharmacies in the district headquarters Bidur were involved in such activities.
Each five errant pharmacies namely Sapkota Medical Hall at Bidur Municipality-2, Samman Medical Hall and Battar Polyclinic and Anjana Medical Hall and Bidur Pharmacy at at Bidur Municipality-4 and Samir Pharmacy in Bidur Municipality-1 were fined Rs 200,000, according to the Chief District Officer of Nuwakot, Jhangnath Dhakal.
