Kathmandu - Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Parbat Gurung said the government has placed high emphasis on the protection of child rights from policy, legal and structural fronts. In a message delivered on the occasion of the National Children’s Day, Minister Gurung noted that the campaign of building ‘street children free country’ has been intensified to protect the rights of poor and helpless children.
“A zero tolerance policy has been adopted against any forms of violence meted out against children.
