Two COVID-19 patients die in Jhapa and Saptari

Kathmandu - Two COVID-19 patients, one from Jhapa district and another from Saptari, have succumbed to COVID-19. A 52-year-old man from Damak Municipality-9 in Jhapa died while undergoing treatment at Dharan-based B.P. Koirala Institute for Health Sciences (BPKIHS) died on Thursday. He was admitted to the Hospital on October 4 where he had tested positive for COVID-19 on the PCR test.

With this, the number of people succumbing to the deadly infection in Jhapa district has reached 12. Similarly, another COVID-19 infected elderly person from Saptari district also died due to the deadly infection.
