Kathmandu - A total of 359 new industries have been registered in Banke district in a month after the Lumbini State Government decided to provide exemption in registration fees for industries.
The decision is aimed at cushioning the impact of COVID-19’s on the small and cottage industries in the State. With the implementation of the State Government’s decision to exempt registration fees for the new industries since September 8, new industries were impressively sprouting in Banke district, said Jayaram Tharu, Chief of Office of Small and Cottage Industry, Banke.
