KMC tightening noose against lockdown rule breakers

Kathmandu - The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is preparing to implement lockdown more strictly and will take action against those not obeying the nationwide lockdown. The government has been enforcing lockdown throughout the country since March 24 to contain the outbreak of COVID-19.

KMC Spokesperson Ishworman Dangol said the lockdown would be enforced more strictly and seriously by coordinating with the federal government since the number of lockdown rule breakers in Kathmandu district was increasing lately. KMC has mobilized police in every thoroughfare to facilitate the public while public awareness drive continues.
