KATHMANDU: Global COVID-19 deaths surpassed 688,000 on Saturday, reaching 688,591 as of Sunday morning, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
More than 18 million people have been infected with the coronavirus pandemic throughout the globe.
