COVID-19 test now available with fee

Kathmandu - The government has established a provision for those interested to carry out a Corona Virus test through the PCR method by paying the necessary fee. The test so far was free for those falling under the criteria set by the government. The paid testing at the public health laboratories will be available in all the seven provinces.

The people who do not fall under the guidelines set by the government will be allow to do the test, said the Ministry of Health and Population spokesperson Dr Jageswar Gautam. A July 8 ministerial decision led by Health Minister Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal decided to designate one laboratory each in every province for the paid testing facility.
