Bereaved families to get one lakh in relief support

Pokhara, July 11 . The families who have lost a member in the landslides that took place in various parts of the district will get a relief assistance of Rs. 100,000. Likewise, those injured will get free treatment in government hospitals.

A decision to this end was taken by the Friday meeting of the District Disaster Management Committee. Accordingly, seven families who lost a member in Kaski as of today, will receive the immediate relief support of Rs. 100,000, according to the committee chair and Chief District Officer Gyan Prasad Dhakal. The relief support is being provided as per the Disaster victim rescue and relief standards, 2074 B.S.
