Govt imposes odd-even rule on vehicles

The government has decided to impose odd-even rule on public and private vehicles from Thursday to control the COVID-19 pandemic. The rule is enforced in the Kathmandu Valley and the districts with more than 200 active cases.

The public and private vehicles except the ones used for essential services will have to comply with the odd-even rule, the Home Ministry said issuing a statement on Wednesday. Similarly, all passenger buses entering the federal capital, Kathmandu, will be prohibited from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.
