Nepal signs non-disclosure agreement to buy Chinese Covid-19 vaccines but legal questions remain

Nepal’s law does not allow such an agreement. Nepal wants to buy 10 million doses, but Sinopharm can only supply 2 million now and the price is not fixed yet, officials say.
With the country in desperate need of Covid-19 vaccines, the government has signed a non-disclosure agreement with the vaccine maker Sinopharm to procure Chinese shots despite questions whether such an agreement can be signed legally remains unanswered.
