Nepali peace expert Rajendra to receive international peace award

Kathmandu - Nepali peace expert Rajendra Century is to be felicitated from the special international award ‘Books for Peace 2020’ in recognition of his contributions to the peace-building efforts. The award was announced at the academic hall of Santa Cecilia Conservatory in the Rome City of Italy on September 12. The ceremony was organized with the assistance of different organizations operating in 61 countries.

Owing to travel restrictions imposed against the global pandemic of coronavirus, Rajendra could not physically present in the ceremony to receive the letter of appreciation. Rajendra has dedicated his life in keeping peace and good will at home and abroad. He has been sharing his profound knowledge and experience about peace building in most of the countries of South Asia and Europe.
