Urgently address gaps in cancer care: WHO

NEW DELHI: Noting the increasing burden of cancer despite 30 percent to 50 percent of the cases being preventable, the World Health Organization today called on countries in South-East Asia Region to prioritize measures to reduce risk, detect and diagnose early and care for people suffering from the disease.
