27 rhino poachers arrested in the current fiscal year

Many poachers who were on the run are coming forward to surrender, Chitwan park administration says.

Thirty-year-old Rajman Magar, an alleged rhino poacher, surrendered himself to Chitwan District Court last week. Two separate cases have been filed against Magar, a resident of Gaindakot Municipality-3, at the Chitwan District Court and two others at Nawalparasi (East) District Court.
