Rastriya Swatantra Party's Gyanendra Bahadur Mahata Wins Kanchanpur-3 House Seat by Wide Margin

Dhangadhi. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Gyanendra Bahadur Mahata has won the election for the House of Representatives member from Kanchanpur Constituency No. 3 by a large margin. Mahata secured his path to parliament by defeating his closest competitor, Hari Prasad Bohara of the Nepali Congress.

Mahata won by securing 27,118 votes. After his victory, Mahata stated that his team had expected such a result even before the election.
