Nepali Congress Candidate Wins Rautahat Constituency 2 Seat

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress candidate Md. Firdos Alam has been elected from Rautahat Constituency Number 2. Firdos, the son of the controversial late Aftab Alam, who was also a former minister, secured victory by obtaining 29,528 votes. He defeated his closest rival by a significant margin.

His closest competitor, Kiran Kumar Sah of the Communist Party of Nepal, received 18,442 votes. The vote difference between Alam and Sah stands at 11,086.
