Newly Elected Lawmaker Pledges to Shun Nepotism and Corruption, Issues Strict List of 'What I Will Not Do'

Pokhara. Khadak Raj Paudel (Ganesh), the candidate from Rastriya Swatantra Party, has won the election from Kaski 1. Winning with the highest number of votes, he committed to nationalizing local-level problems. He stated that he would work hard on policy reform to solve all the issues in his constituency.

The day after his election, he asked people not to call him regarding personal favors. "Do not ask me to arrange jobs, appointments, transfers, or promotions for yourself or your relatives by leveraging our family, social, political, or friendly relationship. I will not do it," he said. He also requested people not to call him to arrange admissions for anyone into schools or colleges under scholarships.
